Jeffrey Baglinit, operating Build With Feedback, is responsible for this service. A public contact for privacy questions and requests is being set up for the beta.

Information used by the service

We process account identifiers, verified email addresses and usernames; project titles, descriptions, questions and uploaded media; reviewer names, comments, highlights, timestamps and drafts; and technical information needed to operate and protect the service. Authentication cookies and device storage help keep you signed in and recover drafts. Network information may be used for abuse prevention and request limits.

Purpose and access

We use this information to run accounts, save projects, collect feedback, recover work, provide support and protect the service. Share review links only with intended reviewers. Reviewers can access the board during the review window and their own feedback; owners see completed feedback when results are revealed. Authorized service providers process information to deliver these functions.

Service providers and optional AI

Cloudflare hosts the app, database and private media storage. Clerk handles account authentication and enabled sign-in providers. The app does not use AI to process your project or feedback.

Playing an embedded YouTube video connects to YouTube, which processes information under its own policies. Providers may process information outside Canada. We do not promise that all information stays in a particular country.

Retention and deletion

Projects and submitted feedback are retained for your iteration history. Trashed items have a 30-day recovery period, after which they are eligible for permanent cleanup. Automated cleanup is still awaiting activation in this beta; expiry does not currently guarantee immediate physical deletion. Draft expiry also does not guarantee immediate deletion of device-local copies. Contact us to request deletion of your account or information. We will explain any applicable retention requirements and provider-backup limitations.

Your choices

You can edit drafts, choose whether to request AI assistance and use the available Trash controls. Email us to request access, correction or deletion, or to raise a concern. We may verify your identity to protect your information. Avoid uploading sensitive information or other people's information without permission.

Updates

This notice will be updated as beta services change. Material changes to how information is used will be explained before they take effect, with consent requested where required.
